South Beach’s 5 Hottest Restaurants Within Walking Distance of Loew’s Hotel

Come for the Congress, stay for the food!

We are incredibly excited about our host city for the 2018 ISAPS Congress. South Beach, Miami is one of the most beautiful cities in Florida, with some of the most stunning beaches in the world. Pair that with one of the biggest global aesthetic meetings in the world and you have a match made in heaven. But what would heaven be without food?

South Beach is not only gorgeous, it’s also home to some truly remarkably cuisine, much of it just steps from the door of our host hotel, Loews Miami Beach. Here are five of the hottest restaurants within walking distance of the 2018 ISAPS Congress:

Lure Fishbar 1601 Collins Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33139

Of course, if you don’t feel like walking at all, there is an absolutely amazing restaurant INSIDE the hotel!

Lure Fishbar is home to some of the freshest seafood you’ve ever had. You can choose from oysters, delicious shellfish and succulent sushi. And the menu isn’t limited to seafood. You can also have world-class steaks, pastas, vegetarian options and much more. And just wait until you see the ocean views!

The Bazaar 1701 Collins Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33139

If you know the name José Andrés, then you know that The Bazaar is one of the most adventurous and unique places to eat in South Beach.

José Andrés is a James Beard award-winning restaurateur who brings a fusion of Miami Latin influences and other cuisines from around the world to this incredible restaurant. With more than 60 tapas to try, you could return here again and again and have a unique experience every single night!

Taquiza 1506 Collins Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33139

If you like tacos, then you’ve come to the right place. At Taquiza, tacos are made the traditional way, with corn for the tacos being ground fresh all day, every day.

Everything about Taquiza screams “authentic” – there are only seven tacos offered, each one demanding to be tried. They even have an ice cream waffle cone taco dipped in chocolate for dessert!

Quality Meats 1501 Collins Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33139

If you’re a carnivore, we suspect that the name of this restaurant raised at least one eyebrow.

The only steakhouse on our list, this restaurant offers a modern take on the classic fare. Steak tartare is made tableside and you can expect house-cured bacon. Quality Meats also offers some of the best desserts in South Beach, so make sure you stick around after your meal for the sticky toffee pudding!

Yardbird 1600 Lenox Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33139

The Yardbird is a little further walk than some of the other restaurants on this list, but it is well worth the trip.

One of the most popular spots to eat in South Miami, Yardbird serves up food inspired by the American South. Here you can find the delights of chicken and waffles, buttermilk biscuits, and shrimp and grits. If you’ve never had food from the South, the Yardbird is a must-stop.

As you can see, you will have a ton of dining options while you are here for the Congress. Whether you are heading with your family for a night out, or going with other ISAPS plastic surgeons after a great day at the Congress, you can be sure that your palate will be sated.

Make sure you register for the Congress as soon as possible! You don’t want to miss one of the premiere global aesthetic meetings in the world.

You should consider booking your hotel room right away as well, to make sure that you are right in the heart of the Congress, ready to learn from some of the greatest ISAPS plastic surgeons in the world. The International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery only holds these events every two years, so make sure that you have your spot to get the finest in aesthetic education, along with a very full and happy stomach!
